"I have a funny incident to recount", says Gulki, continuing, "This was my first dance performance as a television actor and I was very nervous. Both Aamir and Karan, despite being such exceptionally good dancers, made me feel extremely comfortable in the first meeting itself. The name of our act was 'college act' and as the name suggests the performance was full ofroothna - manana, nok- jhok, shararat and masti on a medley of songs. I was dancing with Aamir on the song Oh o jaane jaana and with Karan on the song Khud ko kya samajhti haifollowed by a trio act on the song Jis jagah se khatam.
"At the end of the performance, I was supposed to select one between Aamir and Karan as they kept wooing me. And as per the choreography, Aamir sweeps me off my feet and takes me away with him. Seeing this, a guest on the sets asked Karan, "Why does the girl choose Aamir over you?" He very sheepishly said, " 'Arrre yaar, mere real life se bhi ladki chali jaati hai aur kabhi kisi event mein dance karne milti hai, toh wo ladki bhi mujhe choddh ke chali jaati hai kisi aur ke saath......mera toh naseeb hi kharab hai!' He was so endearing and honest that I couldn't help gushing, 'Karan, given a choice I would definitely go with you because Aamir is already taken."
